Teknik USG Tiroid

Teknik ultrasonografi tiroid atau USG tiroid mengutamakan pemahaman anatomi kelenjar tiroid tujuan diagnostik dan terapeutik. Pasien tidak perlu melakukan persiapan dan mendapatkan pengobatan khusus sebelum pemeriksaan.

Pemeriksaan biasanya berlangsung cepat dan pasien berada dalam posisi supine sehingga kenyamanan pasien tetap terjaga. Setelah pemeriksaan USG tiroid, sebaiknya pasien melakukan follow up kembali sesuai dengan penyakit yang dideritanya.

Persiapan Pasien

USG tiroid tidak memerlukan persiapan khusus. Pasien tidak memerlukan pengobatan atau anestesi. Terapi supresi thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) tidak perlu dihentikan untuk pemeriksaan ini.
