Indikasi In Vitro Fertilization/IVF
Indikasi tindakan in vitro fertilization atau IVF, yang disebut juga dengan bayi tabung, secara umum diperuntukan untuk semua pasangan yang mengalami infertilitas yang telah dilakukan berbagai terapi, termasul dengan proses ART (assisted reproductive technology) lainnya.
Infertilitas didefinisikan sebagai ketidakmampuan pasangan untuk hamil bahkan setelah satu tahun hubungan seksual tanpa kondom. Indikasi IVF lainnya adalah untuk pencegahan kecacatan genetik saat preimplantasi.[3-5,12,55]
